The buyer wishes to purchase the above mentioned dog for the sum of £…………..

THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO DESCRIBE TO THE BUYER WHAT SAFEGUARDS AND GUARANTEES THEY CAN EXPECT FROM THE BREEDER AND TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF BOTH BREEDER AND BUYER BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY THE DOG.

The puppy is sold insured, KC registered and the purchaser is in possession of all relevant documents. At the time of sale the puppy has a perfect bite and the breeder will not be responsible for the bite becoming over or under shot once the puppy has left their care.

Any puppy that has been docked will come with the relevant DEFRA paperwork which will be filled in by the breeders vet. By law all puppies must be micro chipped by the new owners vet at the time of their 2nd vaccination.

Although our vet has carried out a full health check it is strongly recommended that a certified veterinarian examines your puppy within 3 days of purchase to ascertain that they are 100% happy with the puppy’s health. If for any reason your vet feels that they unhappy with the puppy’s condition we would ask that the puppy is returned to us immediately and that your vet contacts us with their concerns, on which we will take the puppy to our vets.

The puppy will only be bred with one of its own kind and not with another breed. No warrantee can be given as to the future performance of the puppy/dog in show/working/field trial. The breeder can not guarantee the fertility of any sold puppy.

The breeder will issue 6 weeks free insurance at the time of sale. It is strongly recommended that the puppy is continued to be insured after this expires.

All reasonable care should be taken to ensure the puppy’s well being at all time. It is highly recommended that annual veterinary checkup’s are carried out, all vaccinations kept up to date and the dog is housed in a manor in which it can roam freely and secure, not involving chains.

If in the future the buyer finds themselves unable to keep the dog, he/she is asked to return the dog to the breeder who will either take the dog back or find the dog a new home.

The breeder is willing to give advice to the breeder regarding the purchased dog throughout the dogs lifetime.

All puppies come with breeding restrictions endorsed by the breeders and administrated by the kennel club, these will only be lifted once the puppy has  reached two years of age at which stage I will recommend that the owners will have the dog hip scored.

Finally I would like to add that I do very much like to keep in contact with my puppies and their owners so I would like to be informed of any changes in addresses or telephone numbers.

THIS AGREEMENT, RELATING ONLY TO THE FORMENTIONED DOG, IS BINDING AND WILL REMAIN IN FORCE THROUGHOUT THE PUPPY’S LIFE.
